This morning, as I was thinking about what sort of blog content I should focus on while I finally have a bit of a breather, I couldn’t nail down any particular topic. I kept feeling like there were a lot of “random” thoughts in my head that weren’t necessarily worthy of individual posts. At the same time, I began thinking about the week ahead—it’s Monday again already?!
So, “Over Coffee” was born. As I’m sure many of you do as well, I tend to plan my week and gather my thoughts on Monday mornings…over coffee. And why not share those thoughts with you guys?
We’ll see if this becomes a consistent post or more of a one-hit wonder…opinions welcome. 😉
Without further ado, here’s what I’m ____ing this week.
The Princess Switch: Switched Again. I am 0% ashamed to admit this. If you haven’t seen the first installment of The Princess Switch on Netflix, get to it. It’s an incredibly cheesy Christmas movie featuring none other than Vanessa Hudgens…and this time around, she plays THREE characters.
The Kremlin’s Candidate by Jason Matthews. It’s the third and final book in the Red Sparrow series, which follows fictional American and Russian spies but is written by a real former CIA agent. I’ll do a full series review once I finish, but these have been my favorite reads in a long time.
This whole WFH thing has me living in flannels. Ok, who am I kidding—I always live in flannels during the winter. This cropped cutie is my current obsession.
Innisfree’s Green Tea Seed Intensive Hydrating Serum. My skin is as dry as the Sahara thanks to crappy apartment heating, and this feels like such sweet relief. You can buy a full-size version here or try it in a non-committal sample pack here.
Even though there will be very few of us for Christmas this year, I have two dessert recipes on deck: Cannoli Cookies and Turtle Cookies. Stay tuned for full details if they turn out worthy!
Hope everyone has a great week and even better holiday!
