Oh heyyyy! Remember me? It’s been a minute. As I was trying to decide on a blog post, I realized it might be nice to give my (very few) loyal readers some general updates. So, here’s what I’ve been reading, watching, eating, etc.—basically, all the “ing” words— these days.
Reading:
None of This Is True by Lisa Jewell. Well, technically I finished it (way too late) last night. I rated it 4 out of 5 stars on Goodreads, but would’ve given it 4.5 if that was an option.
Watching:
The new season of Tell Me Lies on Hulu, obviously. It will never not irk me that Steven looks like that while Lucy looks like *that.*
Season 1 of Industry on HBO. My brother Matt recommended it to me and described it as “depressing, hot, and stylish.” Pretty true so far!
Listening:
My favorite podcast, Shrink Chicks. It’s hosted by two therapists that are best friends. My latest favorite ep: Exploring Gender Identity with Alexander Stefanini.
Radical Acceptance because I typically love a self-help audiobook. Gotta say…this one has not changed my life.
Eating:
This Tofu Curry—I took a risk, but it got an A+ from my boyfriend.
This Greens and Grains Bowl was super tasty…but after an hour of chopping, I might just go to Sweetgreen next time.
Drinking:
S’mores Martini—got this one from Alma Nove in Hingham, MA. Catch me toasting marshmallows in my apartment next time I want a bev.
Wearing:
This graphic tee from Nuuly. I envisioned it with a silk slip skirt, but have been wearing it with everything.

Apple cider donuts. Seriously—I tried tracking them down in MA last weekend and failed.
Buying:
This poplin button-down from Gap Factory came to $22 on sale, including shipping. Basically free, right?
Seeing:
So many Broadway shows. I took myself on a date to see Suffs the other night which was SO empowering. I wish a story about fighting for women’s rights wasn’t so timely, but here we are!
This weekend, my brother is taking me to see Oh, Mary! while he’s in town. Next weekend, I’m taking my boyfriend to Hamilton for his birthday.
Traveling:
I know this verb doesn’t go with “What I’ve Been…” but let’s pretend it says “Where” for a sec. Last month I went to Bermuda for a wedding and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t been sooner. The most beautiful water, kind people, and fun water activities—all just a two-hour flight from NYC! I already want to go back.
