If you’ve ever received a gift from me, there’s a pretty significant chance I ordered it from Etsy. My obsession with the site started in college: I was a student on a tight budget but still wanted to find thoughtful, customized items for my friends and family. And, of course, there were a *few* treats for myself in the mix.
I began college in 2010 (cue the horrified gasps), which means I’ve been shopping Etsy for about 14 years. Woah. Over the years, the artists and their wares have only gotten better—and I must admit it feels so gratifying to support small businesses. Bonus: you’ll rarely find someone in the wild with the same items as you! Etsy today even has net zero carbon emissions, so you don’t have to feel like you’re contributing to the demise of the planet…cough Amazon cough.
But because there are so many products, it takes significant time to scour the options, stalk the reviews, compare the shipping costs, etc.
That’s where I come in.
I spent lots of time going through my prior purchases as well as searching for new things I would either want to receive myself or want to gift. I’ve had a lot of friends get engaged, married, have babies, celebrate birthdays, and all the other life milestones in the past few years, and I’ve always headed to Etsy first. Oh, and I even ran my own Etsy shop during the height of the pandemic, selling custom bracelets.
Since I’m Type A (in a very endearing way, I swear!) I organized my finds into collections just for you. You can check out my Favorites for all of ‘em in one place, or click the links below for your specific needs.
Need a gift for someone in particular and want some help? Feel free to reach out. I love any excuse to shop, especially when it doesn’t require spending my own money.
Colorfully yours,
Haley
