Book Review: The Last Mrs. Parrish

Big Little Lies meets Gone Girl in Liv Constantine’s The Last Mrs. Parrish. A new woman is in town—a ritzy, gossip-filled Connecticut town, at that. And she’s here to shake things up.

Amber Patterson feels virtually invisible. She wasn’t born into wealth and she’s sick of watching from afar as socialite Daphne Parrish rules the East Coast all because she married well.

The novel follows Amber’s mission to ingratiate herself into the Parrish family through a well-practiced sob story. Let’s just say she has done her damn research.

If you like psychological suspense, you’ll love this. It’s addictive, devious and scandalous. I won’t give too much away, but we all know extreme wealth, high society and several unexpected twists are a recipe for a page-turner. And I would bet a lot of money that this one will be turned into a movie, too.

Have you read this one yet? Let me know what you think!

Colorfully Yours,

Haley
